She’s the Queen of Sax in Detroit. The moody, funky, gritty notes that Kat plays on her venerable woodwind instrument have energized the stages of nightclubs and festivals across Detroit for decades. She can lay down a heavy Funk melody that will mesmerize an audience, then bust out with some Rock music, and then easily shift to Pop, Soul, or Jazz. Kat's Funkaholic is now Kat Orlando band, a rocking funky group of top notch musicians playing covers of Prince, Rick James, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Time, Bruno Mars (hence Funkaholic!) But wait! Then they play Jethro Tull, Blondie & Steve Miller! Quite the musical range! 
 

Kat and her Band also showcase songs from her CDs for special shows. Her last performance like this at O'Mara's in Berkley, sold out!

Kat also performs with Hidden Agenda, popular R&B dance band! Larry Pinho, her husband and guitarist of Hidden Agenda, perform also as the Kat Duo (see downloadable EPK on the right for more info and video links!) for a more intimate show. They play selections that include laid back dinner music to uptempo songs by your favorite artists. Whatever the type of music - it's a lot of fun !
